Looks absolutely wonderful. The only concern I have is for what might now be wrong with the gun...
"Rock and load, lock and roll... what's it matter? FIRE!!"
"Gun control means hitting your target every time."
Please take everything I say with at least one grain of salt- I am a very sarcastic person with a very dry sense of humor.
I thought I heard him miss twice.

"But if they don't exist, how can a man see them?"
"You may think I'm pompous, but actually I'm pedantic... let me explain the difference."
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything."
Cool!!! I loved it!!!

He is such a nerd, but man can he shoot!
"I don't know who invented Yoga and I don't know who invented pants. But I do know that I'd like to shake the hand of the man who put those two ideas together."
Might be fun, but I can't afford to do that!

He must be breaking in a Kimber!
The Ruger MKIII 22/45 is the worst handgun in history to take apart, but is one of the funnest to shoot...
That's actually a pretty valid question.
I'm certain that any metal temperatures under 400 degrees would not be harmful to gun metal - though the firearm sure would be hot as Hades to the human touch.
Where I worked we used to pre-clean slides and frames in Oakite degreaser that was at a rolling boil.
1911 slides and frames are typically not hardened steel.
I also think the barrel would be fine since it was not even close to any sort of glowing heat...though most top quality aftermarket barrels are slightly hardened.
I'm thinking that a new recoil spring sure couldn't hurt & possibly a fresh FP spring.![]()
The remainder of the firearm should be just fine and dandy though.
What is too HOT for us to comfortably hold - (Under 200 Degrees) is really not a problem for steel.
I was a little uneasy with him at the beginning of the video and the wiggle fest / jumping jacks/ muzzle all over the place?? For a moment I thought he had Parkinsons…
What (if anything) would you guess would need replacing after this?

I don't really see the point of what he is doing in the video other than burning 1000 rounds of ammo but that is just me I guess.
I could find a much better use of the ammo, but hey that is what some folks say when I go to the range and burn through several hundred rounds, albeit in a much different set of shooting circumstances.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

A BIG THANKYOUfor posting this video. I get a whole raft of CRAP from my buddies for carrying a Para. They all carry Colt and Kimber and other high end stuff.
I can't wait to show them this.

The Shooters antics were quite annoying.
Walther PK380 - SIG Sauer P238 - Glock 19
Shooter was not looking where he was shooting, but rather at what he was shooting for several mags. Besides not getting the point of the exercise, safety seemed to be a bit lax.

You are only paranoid until you are right - then you are a visionary.
That was about the biggest waste of ammunition I have ever seen. Reliability testing is one thing in an engineering session, but that was ridiculous !
