I always forget but do you all register your firearms when you buy them for warranty purposes?
Will companies still honor the warranty if you don't?
I just am hesitant to give out my info if it isn't necessary.

I never have and have returned two for repairs with no problem.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
"Don't forget, incoming fire has the right of way."
Nope, but then again I have sold all of my firearms and am getting out of shooting.

"Books are useless! I only ever read one book, 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' and it gave me absolutely no insight on how to kill mockingbirds! Sure it taught me not to judge a man by the color of his skin... but what good does that do me?" Homer Simpson
I keep forgetting to. The only gun I sent back that was handled under waranty is a Sig SP2340. It had a defective extractor. This was about 7 years after I recieved it as a Christmas present. I expected to pay for the repairs but Sigarms handled it for free. Sig is one company I would definately buy a product from.
My is a glock. They never need cleaning and never break. Just send it thru the dishwasher every once in awhile. GTG
I have never sent in a warranty card on anything. The manufacture can tell by the serial number when it was made, they can look at the bill of sale for proof of purchase or in service date.
I do. Should there be a recall, I have a better chance of knowing about it.

I register ONLY if it can be done on-line: hesitant to mail a postcard registration with my info open to too many eyes. I trust I'll get info regarding a recall from the various forums.

I sent in the card for my Taurus. My EAA didn't come with a card. But both have lifetime warranties.

Please take everything I say with at least one grain of salt- I am a very sarcastic person with a very dry sense of humor.
I register mine online. I bought a Springfield Armory XD40 and it came with a right hand paddle holster(I'm a leftie),I contacted the manufacturer and asked if they made a left handed paddle holster, they simply asked for my serial number and said a left hand paddle would be mailed out the next day.Didn't cost me a cent.
Yes, I'm a cheap fellow and will send one back in a heartbeat.
As several others, online only. I've never had to deal with warranty issues (knock on wood) in 40 yrs of owning guns, hope I never do.
Chose a weapon that goes bang EVERY time!
I thought about it, but then didn't want them possibly sending mail to my current address. I can find out about recalls online, so that's not an issue either.
