That looks great!....Other than the looks, what are the benefits of that treatment? I imagine that slide probably moves like glass now ...
The pistol has had the latest Robar NP3 PLUS finish applied to it. You are correct that the slide now moves so very effortlessly. Everything operates so smoothly. This finish is supposed to require little lubrication, and the new NP3 PLUS is supposed to be their most corrosion resistant finish ever developed. They claim that it makes cleaning the gun easier too. That will be interesting to verify and confirm to be true.
