Article author might want to do a bit more research.
Weaver used an adaptation of the stance used by FitzGearld on page 363 of the book 'Shooting' originally published in --1930--.

I do not know if Weaver arrived at the same stance used by Fitzgerald independantly or if he read the book. It seems like the author might have more insight into the subject considering he is Jack Weaver's son.Originally Posted by KC135
