Another legal / illegal gun in NYC, with a twist!

Concealed Carry Confusion Lands Local Businessman Behind Bars - Local News Story - KJCT Grand Junction

GUy has CCW from home state.

Was on plane to NYC when he decided to Google NYC's gun laws.

Kept gun cased while in NYC.

Arrested when tried to board plane back home.

The twist: He's a pawn shop owner with a FFL.

He took a plea for misdemeanor disorderly conduct and lost his gun, but he's vowing to "fight" the charges with the NRA.

My view: Not Mensa material. Knew or should have known the law. Took the plea, as would have I. Nothing to "fight" except try to get law changed. Good luck with that.

Old news, thanks for the reminder.

    He got off really easy.
If it had been Jersey, he would've almost certainly done hard time.

My only question is in which NYC bureaucrats collection did the gun end up?
