I have not used pearces', but I have hogue slip-on's . In fact I have them on my lil' mustang and it does help because of the small pistol size.

Overall I like finger grooves but also have not tried these Pierce deals.

Much seems to depend finally on the gun, the grip/gun combination - and the shooter's hands. Not suitable for everyone but on balance I think a good addition.

I know the Hogue Handalls I fitted to P95 and P97 are excellent, tho those guns see little use these days. Also added smaller versions to my 22/45 which I use for pin shooting - helped there too.

They look interesting. I've got a pair of Hogue's on my SIG 239 and love them.

I like the finger grooves as I have used the slip on houge grips before. But don't want a much larger grip panel, (mine are slim) for the 1911. Looks like I will probably be ordering and giving em a try.

IIRC Wilson used to make a thin steel checkered front strap cover , i had a couple back when ..... they worked like a charm and just slipped under the grips like that appears to . Just food for thought as options are allways good lol .

I've got one on my 1911 S&Wsc, and I love it.

It really helped me with getting a custom fit on my weapon (in addition to Wilson slimline grips, because I have very small hands).

    YMMV.

I have the finger grooves on my Para, the rubber paneld went on my wife's Kimber, didn't want to cover the checkering on them. Usually I don't like the grip telling my fingers where to go, but on a short framed 1911 they're kinda nice. What I liked about the "modular grip" is that I can still have nicer panels than just the rubber ones
