    My wife loves me...NEW GUN!

Oh yeah, my wife loves me.

We have some good friends who ran into some financial troubles, and he offered to sell me a gun that I have wanted for quite some time so that he could pay some bills. It's a Savage model 24 over/under. Made in 1961. .22 Mag top barrel .410 bottom barrel. Great little gun for varmint hunting, and it is in fantastic shape. The bluing is all original and nearly perfect, the stock has only a few minor dings from being used, and it's awesome. So I went and got some ammo for it, and now I am all ready for varmint season in AZ.

I keep trying to attach the pic from photobucket but the site says the URL is invalid...no idea why. Help!

    Congrats on the great find!
How does your wife fit into this equation? Did she buy it for you:

She signed off on the purchase when funds are a bit tight. :)

Congrats.. Me and my husband both like guns and we have an agreement. My job is to keep him from selling any guns so we
keep our collection growing and his is to buy more guns. I don't mind this at all since I do enjoy shooting with him.

Uhhhhh... are you for real? Where did you come from and are there any more there like you?
Your husband is a lucky man!

Yep, I sure am! That's not all, she knows how to cook better than my own mother. Not many men will say that about their wife either.

That is awesome to the point that I need a recap! Your job is to buy guns, and hers is to keep you from selling them? + she shoots with you and cooks better than mom? In that case, it's not hard to live happily ever after. Congrats to you both.
