    Front sight question

    Weapon: ISSC M22
    Issue: front sight
Question: The front sight on the ISSC M22 is removable and well falls out on occasion. It does not bother me but I bought it to loan out to a scout troop there lies the issue.

Does anyone know of an adhesive I can safely use to secure the sight?

Is there a sight I can add to the gun permenently via a local smith?

If my family and I were going to be the only one's plinking with it I would just keep a few replacement sights on hand (3 for 5.99 online I already ordered and have 9 extras) but with me loaning ot out on occasion I feel I need to step up and make it right for the kiddos.

Loc-tite Blue....the front sight, if properly prepared, will not move with loc-tite blue

Super glue works too. Just make sure the sight is where you want it.

An old gunsmith trick is the use a centerpunch to punch several marks on each side of the dovetail on the sight and then drive it in. The punchmarks will keep it in place, but also allow you to move the sight if you need to.
I would rather stand against the cannons of the wicked than against the prayers of the righteous.
