Had a Bedding Job done on my Savage 93R17, and got the stock refinished too - Photo

Took my Savage 93R17 in to have it bedded and re-crowned, and decided to ask my gunsmith to refinish the stock too.

Just got the rifle back today, so I have not yet had a chance to shoot some groups with it. But here is how the stock now looks:

Are trying to stimulate the economy through your gunsmith? You are getting a lot of work done lately. Looks good. Do you have "before" pictures?

    Nice!

I used a bedding kit on my Rem 700 many years ago and it really helped with its accuracy. Now, nearly 40 years later, it still shoots under 1" with my handloads.
