I always have had dreams of buying my favorite carry pistol, but seeing as I do not have 3K to spare on a wilson combat I can only dream! I want to know what your dream carry pistol is! I know you all have dreams!

1940's GI model 1911. 6" barrel, no bells, no whistles. Just like they handed them to the troops. But, it has to be from the 40's. One that's proven, and has history.

a very nice condition Colt Detective Special with history also
Love guns and enjoy playing with new ones but I have all the serious "carry" handguns I want and have had for many years. Maybe I have a faulty imagination.
Welcome to new member ace587 who made a great observation with his very first post about one of the greatest concealed carry handguns of all time.

On my list for a modern fighting handgun, it would be the HK45. In the classic line, I would go with the Springfield Professional 1911. Its about 2500 dealer wholsale so it may be a while before I have one.

Ruger® Super Redhawk® Alaskan Double-Action Revolver Model 5301 <---------This, now I would just need a way of concealing that massive grip and dealing with the close to 3lbs fully loaded weight. Not sure if that would be a dream or a nightmare.
Fear the man with one gun. Especially if that gun is a Glock 19.
I'm starting to get an itch for a 1911. Anybody had any experience with Remington's version?

Ladies,
Don't buy this weapon. Nice as it feels and dry fires, when loaded it is a different story. I was dismayed to find I had to use both index fingers to pull the trigger and Ruger tells me that it can't be adjusted! HAd no trouble with the Glock, but liked the feel and size of this one better. Bad decision!
I have my dream gun, two in fact, an HK P7PSP. One for carry, one for HD.
I believe Will Smith used it in the first Men In Black movie when that alien bug was crawling up the Seattle Space Needle.
A wittle bitty gun wit a Great Big BOOOM!!!

I had a dream 6 months ago. A vision, if you will, of my dream pistol. It was a 1911 officer size in 10mm. Contacted Fusion and Bob said he could make it, but suggested a CCO instead due to feeding and reliability issues with the longer 10mm cartridge and the short officer length slide. So I was able to tell him exactly how i wanted it and it is being built that way. 11 weeks away from having mine.
I'm sure another dream pistol will come up after that. Every gun I have bought was a dream at one point.
