Thumbs up Great news for Central Virginia

Mod's Not sure if this is the correct place for this. Feel free to move it if not.

Richmond is getting a new, state of the arts indoor shooting range. It will be 3 levels, encompassing over 60,000 Sq Ft.

Lower level will be dedicated for LE training.

Second level will house 2 ranges, a 20 and a 25 yard range. Classroom facilities, training simulators, and retail sales store.

Third level will be a members area. It will have a training range, a members only range, as well as a members lounge.

They received unanimous approval from the County Planning Board last week, and work on the renovation is suppose to start this week. Scheduled opening is for Feb 2012.

Range fees and membership fee's are tentative right now. But appear to be $20. for general public ranges. Membership fee's of $100. initiation fee and $30. per month.

Believe it or not, they actually got good press coverage on this.
