    Score!

So i was in walmart getting ready for the Hurricane that is on its way to new england when i stumbled across the ammo display. I look inside and notice that Winchester 9mm Luger 100 packs are labeled as $15.97 a box, i thought hmm that doesnt seem right they should be $24.97 a piece. So i get 3 boxes, they ring up at the $25 a box, i state thats not what the shelf says, long story short i got 3 boxes for $15.97 a pop. Saved myself $27 on there error!

That 115 gr wwb in FMJ should run you between $12 and $15 for a box of 50. So yeah, you screwed them. You saw a mistake and you took advantage of it. You must be so pleased and proud.

How do you suppose big stores make up for losses they incur through theft or dishonesty? Here's a clue for you amigo: You're not hurting Walmart.

You were not dishonest. You pointed out their price listed it lower than it rang up. They verified their mistake and honored the listed price. Happens all the time.

I'm just saying that the price was too obviously meant for a box of 50 to be mistaken for the 100 count price. I have to assume you knew that. I certainly would have.
Dishonest??? A matter of opinion I guess. I would not have felt good about it.

who says i felt good about it? I did feel good about it, i found one hell of a deal and jumped all over it like a fat kid in a twinkee factory! Not my problem the person that put the ammo in there put it in the wrong spot. I call it discounts with out coupons.

you are right i did know that price was to low, I did inform the manager of that. by company policy they have to give them to you at the price on the shelf.

Ive scored a $200 electric dog fence for $35.00, and a bunch of other stuff from walmart due to there shotty employee shelfing issues.

Absolutely, and I would have taken advantage of it as well!!!
The only thing that would have stopped me from pulling the credit card and clearing the display would be the fact my brothers and sisters in arms may well need ammo for the upcoming emergency as well and I must have respect for their needs!

I would think they might possible have a bad employee that needs to be looked at carefully.
Maybe he mismarked it intentionally for his friends & you pointed it out to them....

    Good for you!

Wow. Celebrating taking advantage of an honest mistake. How wonderful.

Now if that happened at a Publix supermarket you'd get all of it for free. If a supermarket ever sold ammo I'd be in heaven. Fried chicken and guns, what could be better?
