This is an editing goof, done by the film editors long after the shooting was wrapped. The RedJacket guys have no control over that.

I don't think so. Notice how she flinches and makes some kind of "big gun" remark after each shot?

Haha thanks! And you're absolutely correct! It's just that some of the race/contest reality shows feel a little less manufactured. I really enjoy "Top Shot" for example.

When they made a comment that they could put a stock on the pistol,to do so If I'm correct would turn the handgun into a SBR which would require a 200.00 tax stamp and paperwork

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Same thing on Swamp people, which I love. You will see a different rifle every time they change camera angles. Just a lot of cut and paste editing to add entertainment value. Besides, these Hollywood editor types can't tell one end of a firearm from the other more than likely.

That what I was thinking before I saw that she was firing a Beretta.

You just know that some doof out there is going to try to retrofit a pistol like that, himself,
before somebody lets him know it's illegal.

I noticed in an early show (2nd or 3rd) they hired a new guy who 'didn't work out' & was fired by the end of the episode. I think he is an actor...... & you can see him in Arby's commercials singing their new jingle. (Andrew Breving)

    I tried watching one epsiode.

All it did was reinforce my opinion that "reality" TV is cretin fodder.

Sons of Guns can be somewhat entertaining, but...

If follows the same forumla every episod. Customer comes in with a rare project. The owner says ok lets do it and it'll be done in a week. Then he announces it to his staff and they grumble about not having enough time. Then the owner barks at them about getting the job done. They special order parts etc, do some work, show you a few other projects and then finally they let the customer shoot it.

I don't believe that many of these projects are really done in just one week.

To this day the only true reality show is the original, Cops.
