Looked like a Beretta to me.

What? That was for sure a Beretta. Why would they do that?

Yah Beretta 92 (looks like). Come on guy--you're stunned that what's on TV isn't true?

She didn't want to get her forehead stitched up.

I love how the cameraman tried to pan back after we went too far right.

Wow, a Desert Eagle that morphs into a Beretta, where can I get one of those.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

"Son's of Guns" appears to me to be "manufactured" reality TV pure and simple, and quite boring other than the occasional interesting weapon that rolls through. You know that the genre has fallen on hard times when Discovery has to resort to intra-series guest shots to boost appeal (the ridiculous "dragon gun" and the guys from Paul Jr. Designs showing up in one episode) though I think the guest shot was more for Paul Jr's benefit than SOG. I'll watch it if they're doing something fun though (like 4 MG42's mounted up together (FAIL)....and the tri-whatchamacallit episode) but it's got to be a real slow TV night. Just my opinion YMMV.

I thought it was a Beretta 92 and if Guantes says it is then for sure it is.
You would think the last thing they would want to do would be to say a particular firearm was one thing when it was not, especially on a firearms related show
that is watched by a firearms knowledgeable segment of the viewing audience.
Stephanie did get that one upper tooth on the right side fixed so maybe she was a little shy about getting it and a couple others knocked out.
I still find the show entertaining.

"Sons of Guns" is mediocre at best. Some of those rednecks in the shop look dangerously stupid.
However, they did have at least one good episode, with the WWII flamethrower that they restored. Then, at the end, an 80+ year old Iwo Jima Medal-of-Honor winner played with it for a bit and showed how he lit up some Jap pill boxes. Now that was a dang good scene!

Not saying they didn't switch it out for her to shoot, but they could have gone back into the range later to film some other shots/angles after the customer left and substituted the Beretta then. It's all part of the tv magic.

Its not that I'm stunned as to what is on TV but this is a show about firearms, and the people that watch the show are probably firearm enthusiasts who know about firearms. Didn't think they would try and pull one over on us.
