This whole thing reminds me of the line from Carlos Mencia:

Well I guess he doesn't have to worry about his next girl friend. What he has to worry about is being "Big Bubba's" girl friend!

No. Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being with Malice Aforethought.
Malice aforethought requires one of these 5 states of mind: The intent to kill, the intent to commit grave bodliy harm, commiting a felony, evading a known lawful arrest, and finally in this case, commiting a wreckless act with the concious disregard for the safety of another.

It is idiots like this that give gun people a bad name. I hope they throw away the key, or at least keep him locked up until he is too old to breed.

Is that murder on his part, or suicide on hers?

The article might as well be written by the shooter, because he was the only witness and therefore everything that is described in the article is what the shooter claims. Sorry, I'm not going to "take a guys word for it" after he just killed his girlfriend with no witnesses.

(I'm assuming there were no other witnesses because the article doesn't mention any)
