Well, since i just got my LTCH a few days ago me and my dad went to Big R, bought some ammo. And today we went to the range with the .40cal and the ar-15 and had a few hours of fun. We finally sighted in the ar-15 and we were shooting at a target the was being held up buy a 3/4in piece of wood (wood "spike" stabbed through a piece of paper). Well, we knew we got it sighted in pretty well when we walked down the range and saw that i split the piece of wood into four pieces. I was pretty happy that i hit a tiny square at 100yds. And idk if that's considered to be relatively easy or not, but I'm pretty new to shooting and I was pretty happy with that shot. We also shot ~75rds through the s&w sigma. I wasn't making precision shots or anything, but that's only my 2nd time shooting it. But I was happy enough with my accuracy so far. But that was my afternoon. So long
Yea, this is kind of "our thing" together now. I got my first gun (first gun we ever had in the house) last year around Christmas time. And we've pretty much talked about guns ever since. I got him interested and now we have another thing to do together. I showed him 1911's a few days ago when I was showing him a few different guns on the internet. Well, he likes em. haha. So I know what I'm getting him for Christmas now. Me and my two other siblings are gonna pitch in and we're going to get him an RIA 1911, probly just gonna put all the money for one in a box and put a picture of the gun in the box (so that he can go buy it himself and not have to change it over into his name). It's gonna be a fun Christmas this year
