I know you guys love your LCR's, but that's like putting wood grips on a Glock.
JMHO.![]()

I like 'em
I've got the secret service ones on my j-frame
It's not quite as bad as putting wood on a GlockAt least, at a glance, it just looks like a blued revolver with wood stocks.

I thought it would be goofy to put wood grips on my LCR, but those are snazzy.
Hakkaa päälle!
Hey, adding a little wood couldn't hurt, class the thing up a little.
Actually, I've semi retired my LCR. It's now relegated to home defense for my wife... I just had a trigger job done on my 638, so it has officially replaced my LCR as one of my carry revolvers. The 637 is still in the rotation and next inline for the Smith, but for now I'm a bit smitten with both my M&P9 and my 638 for my defense guns. The trigger on my 638 is just incredible compared to what it was before; Heck, I don't even miss the trigger on the LCR, and the 2.5 oz difference is a none issue for me...
Still like the LCR a lot, but it is a tad bit larger than both my Smiths and is more noticeable in a front pocket, so for now she belongs to the wife, who will most likely never pick it up from it's staged location, unless I drag her to the range to shoot it.![]()

I understand. My 637 is hardly a 'classic', but I like it so much that I'm seriously thinking about putting some nice wooden boot grips on it.
At least we're not talking about doing something like this:

AZ have you ordered from them before? Just curious how they are to deal with.

I have used the smooth Eagle Secret Service grips on other guns and found them a bit slippery at the draw. For the LCR I would wait for the checkered ones. I'm sure they will make them sooner or later.
I use the checkered SS grips on my 442 Smith; I don't know how they would look on a polymer revo, but I'm excited to see. Post a pic when you get them.

That just one of those things I can't bring myself to do..Plastic and wood.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.
