In another thread I told about the Ruger LCR .357 magnum I bought my wife for her birthday. We took it to the range today for her to "christen" it.
Let me tell you, LCR's are...sweet!!!! :danceban:
First time out the wife used .38spl just to get used to a new handgun and the recoil is not bad at all. Her first hits were a bit low but she was hitting the target about 21 feet away from the bench. She fired about 10 rounds then let me shoot.
All I can say is that if you get the chance to fire this revolver, do so. It has the smoothest trigger pull I have ever used. It's a bit of a snubby so there will be some recoil, but it is not hard to manage at all.
Next, the wife put two rounds of .357 magnum to try it. Wow! The recoil was a bit much, but she said that it was not so bad that she could not manage. She popped the next round and punched the target again a bit low.
I tried the .357 round and the recoil is heavy, but again, not so much you cannot handle it. I think I am in love with this revolver. Makes me want one now. :yup:
At the end of our shooting, she finally punched the bullseye with her new friend! I am impressed to say the least, Ruger has a great firearm and I won't hesitate to recommend it to anyone! :hand10:
