    New Stainlesss One Piece guide rod for XD45 Service

    Just received my new stainless steel guide rod assembly from Canyon Creek Customs. Very nice piece!

    This new guide rod assembly eliminates the captive two spring/two piece assembly that comes factory. It allows changing springs to fine tune the gun to your needs. Springs are flat wound and that was the key to this new system. All other attempts from other manufacturers had failed.

    Fit is very nice, finish is excellent but getting that 22lb spring to compress is a PITA!
