I use it on Cerakote, so far no problems.

I don't think Ballistol will hurt anything. You can use it to shave with and on plants. I use it on everything I can.
Ballistol was invented to use as a one step treatment for German military rifles. Metal, wood, leather. It won't hurt any firearm. Doesn't smell very good but it works.
Good to hear. I don't buy oil to make my gun smell good, lol :P

I wipe down the wood in my house with Ballistol. The house smells for a short time but it looks good.
