I shot my SR1911 for the first time this week

I have been waiting all year for Ruger's SR1911 and finally found one this month. I put 200 rounds through it this week and this gun is a dream to shoot. I have never shot such tight groups before with any gun. I am truly in love and can't wait to get out again. There were some jelly people at the range admiring my new gun!

Welcome to the Forum. Glad the pistol is satisfactory. 1911 triggers are great and the pistols are lots of fun.

I'm not certain what jelly people are. If they'd make my guns sticky through handling them while admiring them then they don't need to touch the guns.

Congratulations on taking it out for a test drive, you will find the more you shoot it the more you will like it.

Glad you got a pistol you liked. If I ever decide to get yet another 1911, the Ruger will definitely be getting a look. Hard to find bad reviews of their 1911...

Nice gun and I am glad you are enjoying it. Shoot strait be safe and most of all have fun. Also if people keep wanting to take a peek at it charge admission and it will pay for your range time .
