My girls new Mossberg 500

I got my girl her first shot gun this weekend and we went out and shot clays. We ended up getting a youth model because it fit her better than a full size. Now here is the kicker.... the furniture is pink camo. The synthetic is lighter than the wood so that is a plus. She did alright with the clays for her first time out, and is looking forward to her next outing. The best part is that we now have and activity that we can do together. She also did well breaking it down and cleaning it with only a little guidance from me.

I have Two Mossbergs... one 500 deer/field gun, and one persuader. I have my first perfect score on the 5 stand this summer during our pump gun league... so anyone who says Mossbergs cant shoot well are full of it... just sayin'. Bunker

Congratulations... I bought my wife the Mossberg 590 persuader pistol grip for the house. I'm relishing the moment we can go to our local range to shoot some rounds.

That's great that's she's enthusiastic about it! That's the most important part in getting a woman
to learn how to use firearms. You have to keep it fun. Make sure she can clear malfunctions too.
I know it's a mossberg and you should never have a failure but it's still good to practice. ;-)
