    When I shoot my rifles with red dots or holosights, it's both eyes open. iron sights and scopes, I close one eye.

    I attempt shooting both eyes open with fuzzy sights and focused on the target at times with a pistol to see how good my results are. I obviously don't make the tight groups I usually will, but I'll at least hit in the -0 circle on an IDPA target. In a defensive scenario, you're likely not even going to aim, let alone properly focus on the front sight. I can't replicate everything, but I try to prepare a little bit :)
