    Congrats!

Make sure you get some training on safe gun handling.

I have, and will continue taking classes probably twice a year, plus re-qualifying for my Armed Security license annually.

Yes...I'm already eyeing a S&W 638 Bodyguard as a nice BUG. Probably have to wait 'till my birthday, though.

Congrats, sure this is just the beginning, they are addictive......if your going to carry concealed, remember, do not put a 500 dollar gun in a ten dollar holster n try to hold it up with a wal-mart belt, they key to continued and succesful cc is to outfit yourself with quality accessories.

I asked my stock broker the other day, what I should be investing in ....his reply, canned goods n ammo !!!

You've been posting on here for a while now. How could you just now have a firearm?

I was unemployed until last June. I joined a couple of years ago thinking I was going to get a job with the Security force at the local nuke plant and I would be able to buy a gun by my 21st birthday, but I didn't get the job. Been applying for jobs ever since, but nobody would hire me without job experience (figure that out; how are you supposed to get experience without someone hiring you, lol) until I got a call for an interview and the guy saw that I was passionate about Security and he decided to give me a chance as a temp/fill in. Fast forward six months, and the girl that worked the day shift at my site just quit and I inherited her hours, so now I'm full time. Yay me!

Very Very bad choice on your first firearm. Please contact me as soon as it arrives so I can take this bad purchase off your hands for a reasonable fee.
