They're a LOT more tolerable with a trigger job and a grip modification

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
You cannot choose the conditions for a gunfight, so train in all conditions!
Welcome to the world of Glock firearms...it won't be your last.

My wife carries what used to be my G27 and is very good with it. Glock is a solid weapon.
We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. -
So I go into the shop to pick up my new Glock today at 4:30PM and they would not release it. I waited the two days but they called it in late. So I get to make another trip back there to get it. Two day "cooling off" period. dumb... I have a ccw and a pile of other handguns, waste of time and gas. We need to change the law here in WI ( If you have a ccw and pass the background check should just issue like for a long gun.) Skip the two day wait.
So I will get you my Glock update next day or so. I am looking forward to getting it!
Heading to the shop to pick up my new Glock!

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.
I sold my Gen 1 Glock-19 last week to help pay for my three pre-owned revolver purchases in the past two months.
I loved it for the years I had and carried it and that included three years as my duty weapon before going to the Glock-23 and then the Glock-21.
I have a 1964 Browning Hi-Power that will now be my only 9mm.
That said my EDC the vast majority of the time is my Gen 3 Glock-23 or Gen 3 Glock-36.
Something had to go and it was the Glock I carried the most for years but the one I carry the least now and that was the G-19.
Not for any other reason except I needed to cull the herd.
Good luck with your new G-19 when you get it and yes that is a rediculous requirement when you already have a state issued CCW permit to have a 2 day wait.

Got It! But I also got called into work so the range will have to wait
Sorry no Glock update today. Got to work some overtime. Going to the indoor range with "Fred" on Wed night. I will run lots of ammo thru it including factory and my reloads. I hope "fred" gets his new CCW permit in the mail by then. Can't wait to shoot it. Since it is my first Glock.
"Here it is!"
Hey....That looks just exactly like one other GLOCK that I saw once. <~~~
And...Time to go holster shopping.
