Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.

When I took my CCW class my instructor sold me a BERSA 380. Still have it and still shoot it. I do not carry it, however!

If you can handle a long stick you can handle a gun - right?

Hoo, boy. Where do you start?
I was told the exact same thing by my father when I was young.

    Anot her one

"Bud, it's late, you're tired, it's been a long drive home from the deer hunt; just leave everything in the truck parked on the street in front of the house. As long as you lock up it will be OK until morning." As told to myself with yes, my one year old 1984 Royal Blue, 6" barrel, checked-wood grip Colt Python under the front seat. I STILL almost throw up in my mouth as I think about walking outside the next morning and seeing the window smashed, stereo hanging from wires out of the dash, my sweetheart gone and how much I miss that gun and what I'd give to have it back and how absolutely stupid I was to listen to myslf that night. ***Now where's the kick myself in the butt emoticon.***

When I lived in Mass you couldn't buy a Glock unless you were extremely lucky. So I ended up buying a S&W Sigma. Why? Cuz the salesman said " It's exactly the same as a Glock. S&W is being sued by Glock for copying their guns." Bull pucky! What a piece of crap! That gun didn't stay with me for 3 months. Now I've got the real thing baby!

Worst advice; this model here by X is a better value than that Glock you are looking at.
If the Union is once severed, the line of separation will grow wider and wider, and the controversies which are now debated and settled in the halls of legislation will then be tried in fields of battle and determined by the sword.

I remember this as well when the glocks came out. they were being marketed as indestructable and easy to clean due to being plastic. I wonder how many people actually did drop them in with a load of dishes?

I posted the dishwasher thing. Sadly, it was an old crusty sergeant talking about our (then) new Smith & Wesson stainless steel model 66 revolvers! And no, he WASN'T just kidding..................
