add to my AR or buy AK?

I'm not sure if this topic belongs here - please feel free to move it if necessary.

I bought myself a Spikes Tactical ST-15 middy for Christmas. Here is my dilemma: I want to buy an Arsenal SGL21 at the upcoming gun show here in Corpus Christi, TX (next weekend). I hope I can find one OTD for <=$800. However, I also want to buy furniture (mainly Magpul) and an AIMPOINT PRO for my ST which will total ~$650. Is it wise to add and complete my ST before I purchase another rifle? Or do I buy an AK and put my ST on hold for a few more months?

    Here are my main concerns:
    1. Firearms will go up in price more drastically than aftermarket parts; therefore, I should purchase the AK now.
    2. I will have two rifles to build up (don't really want to do a lot to the AK, just a scope mount, optic, magazines and ammo, more magazines, and a lot more ammo).
    3. My ST will get jealous of all the attention the new Arsenal will get from me.

    Thanks for your input!
I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

If you want an AK, get it. They're not getting any cheaper. I bought one used a while back and now after buying an AR I'm thinking about trading it in at my LGS towards an underfolder to have something a little different than a regular AK now that the AR fills my "precision plinking" role.

Accessorize the AR and then stock up on mags and ammo before worrying about the AK.

Work on the AR. I bought an AK and then an a while after. I am not longer worrying about stocking up on ammo and other things for the AK.

The AR is going to receive my attention.

I'd grab the AK now - I'd forget the Magpul furniture - and I would buy the AimPoint Patrol Rifle Optic for myself next Christmas.

That's what I personally would do...but, that's only because I have this uncanny, incredible, "knack" for making correct and amazingly wise decisions.

AK for sure. Hoping to get one soon. Used to have an SKS years ago. I've shot AR-15's before. I like the slower, heavier 7.62x39 than the tiny and fast .223. AK isn't as accurate as the AR but accurate enough and better penetration.

I would for sure buy the AK. They are sweet! They are as reliable as a hammer, the ammo is cheap and frankly they are more fun to shoot then an AR.

I'd get the AK! Accessories can always be bought later...ofcourse sneak in a mag purchase for the AR, here and there if you can. Alot of time you can accesorize with like new used gear, at around 25-40% discount. Arsenal is nice AK! Oh yeah try looking for your Aimpoint on Gunsamerica, gunbroker, and even ebay...you might get lucky with a seller who has surplus.
