there is actually nothing you can do to it other than change batteries and turn it on and off. I had the LT1 and it quit operating a few days after I bought it. Sent back to Laserlyte and a few weeks later I got a replacement which was the essentially the same in operation but it was red rather than black. Parts for mine (well actually the entire thing) involved in it being backordered. About all you can do is send it back and hope for the best.
