Yeah I'm still really thinking that it's just a government thing. We all know that the government does things at their own pace. When I finally picked up my gun, the gun shop employee told me that they have no info on why it sometimes takes longer, but that they know within minutes when an application is declined, and that 99% of the time if it takes longer than that, it'll be approved, it'll just take a little longer.
It is nice here in Kentucky, just hand them your concealed carry permit. No background check needed.
Current collection: Too many according to the wife...
I made a purchase yesterday at gun show and got delayed. Gun Show closed, no gun. Got a call from dealer saying we were cleared and could pick up gun at next closest show two weeks from now.
Funny thing is, there was a person on the PA system telling people to contact there US reps and Sen. to complain.
Also, no state check w/ cc permit, just Federal.
Don't believe what you hear and only half of what you see!
My friend owns a Gun Store and the FFL is in his name. He is an Instructor and has a CCW license. Every time we run the Back Ground Check on him he gets delayed. ???????????? Government?????????
