I was curious as to what stores people hold in high regards aside from Buds, I have been to buds plenty of times and It seems good.. But I'd still like to see some other options.

Depends what you are looking for. I use midway usa a lot for gear. But I am within a 25 minute drive from buds so I usually go there. If you have a glock a lot of people reccomend glock meister and teh glock store.

If you have a Cabela's close to you I have found them to be a great option. Wait for a sale, have it shipped to your local store free and pick it up in a few days. They have great prices. Plus often they'll do a buy $100 or whatever amount and take $10 or $20 off.
If you are buying a very large bulk of ammo sometimes it is cheaper to use another source if the taxes from Cabela's will cost more than the shipping from another site.
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.

Never buy anything to do with my firearms on line. Just as good or better deals at Fleet farm or anyone one of several others stores.

I just realized you're not talking about ammo but actually buying guns. In that case Cabela's is not the place to get a great deal. Ammo yes, guns, mostly not, even though you can occassionaly find a good deal at Cabela's.
