If the Union is once severed, the line of separation will grow wider and wider, and the controversies which are now debated and settled in the halls of legislation will then be tried in fields of battle and determined by the sword.
I wholey support gun rights, but they (whoever you think they might be) are not coming to confiscate your guns.
Now if you'll excuse me I think the black helicopters are circling my home again.
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.

I am so glad I purchased tinfoil instead of gold. Some have it double wrapped lately.
But on a serious note. What can you do if you are concerned about it. Vote. That is what it is about. The power will lie in Supreme COurt nominees more that legislation.
@ Suntzu, I new the Tin foil investment would pay off for you
@ Mike1956 I agree, I only hope they show up for this next election.....

I love my 2a rights and this country as much as anyone, but that article told me exactly jack. The NRA made quite the claim that Obama is involved in a "massive conspiracy", to "destroy" gun rights, and has just been biding his time all the while to "lull" us and that all of this is "crystal" clear. I'm no Obama supporter, and will vote for the other candidate, but I think this article goes a bit far and begins to cross over into the line of using OUR OWN fear of losing 2a rights simply to get rid of Obama.

International agreements are a possible way for the government to try and limit or even restrict the rights of gun ownership in this country. However when you look at the fact that the United State is the most armed country in the world leads me to believe that this isn't going to happen. Not that people with opposing views won't try.
