The saddest part is there are gun owners and even members here who will blindly vote for him! NOT ME! I still believe in what our founders believed. The 2nd Amendment is the only thing standing between us and socialism.

A second term would allow him to pursue all manners of dumb ideas, repeal or obstruction of 2A among them, without personal electability repercussions.

He won't. He can't, much as he and hs regime may want to. They would have an open insurrection on their hands. Really now, would you run down and turn yours in? Other than the "token" cheapie? He hails from the last bastion of Big Brother: Illinois. Every time a Democrat gets the job, they're gonna take 'em all. Just join the NRA and vote. Clinton was going to clean us out as well. Introduced a lower capacity mag limit to cut down on crime. As you can see, it worked so well that we have no more crime. It was an experiment that failed miserably. So we have standard capacity mags again. While I agree that a second term is far more dangerous, he has too many other things to deal with. It would be a bad idea for him to make an already unhappy country even angrier.

Don't for one second think I am defending him. He's gotta go, guns or not.

you folks are missing is that what they{the Feds} are going to use are Global, Multinational gun laws(UN) to sidestep the Constitution and our way of life, to conform to a more worldwide aspect of gun laws, the ability to have them, and what types, and calibers, how and for what you may use them, and how they are stored, which in some states is already a reality.
If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.

Washington didn't use his freedom of speech to defeat the British, He shot them!

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists or not, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedy." -- Ernest Benn

We have already seen that the Constitution means nothing to the current president.
He clearly said when I appoint one more justice to the Supreme Court I will fix that he was replying to the court ruling that here is a 2nd amendment right.
    No my words his.
In Wisconsin the recall movement has vowed to repeal CC as the second thing they do after the election again their words not mine.

The biggest proof that Obama wants to strip Americans of the right to own guns is the fact Eric Holder still has a job. Someone who has lied over and over to congressional leaders that have been looking into the Fast and Furious debacle that should have been stopped before it got off the ground.

Not only has he lied, but he continues to claim more gun restrictions would be the solution when his agency knowingly violated federal laws by making several gun stores sell guns in an illegal manner. Most of gun sellers had lodged formal complaints prior to everything blowing up in the media.

The congressional leaders who ordered Holder to turn over all related materials have gathered far more data about the Fast and Furious program from the gun stores themselves, and from seizing records from the BATFE itself.

If the President's unwavering support for someone who cannot even comply with a congressional order, who has lied about his role in a major scandal, and openly supports stripping all 2A rights from people is not a sign about what can happen does not scare people then nothing will.

My favorite part has been after the lies were exposed, and Holder was called incompetent, he claimed that if he was white that this would be a non-issue.

Let's face it, after President Bush realized Tommy Thompson knew nothing about medicine, he was fired, well, released actually. There was not even a scandal to make that happen. That says a lot about our former President, and the current one.

Is this what Obama considers everyone "getting a fair shot?" A society where only BGs have guns would be chaos.

If this thread lasts long enough and doesn't get "political" and closed by the administrator, we'll have all the "libs" on this forum come out in bunches. Their post will make you think they're pro 2A, but with code words that agree with Obama. Sure their right to free speech which I will defend, but disingenuous to this forum.

I think not, that is just another thread for another topic. It is a multi-pronged, multi-level attack on 2A.

The day my Constitutional Rights are taken away at the hands of the government is the day I'll call this place a plot of dirt instead of America.

In Wisocnsin listen and watch of these words on web sites and everyday conversation. They have made it clear you do not talk out loud directly against the 2nd or CC.
    1. You talk about your supports of rights and in the same breath talk about reasonable fixes to a flawed bill.
Example " we could all agree that there is no need to allow CC with in 1000 feet of a school right"
It just makes no sense to have weapons locked in cars while people are at work the common sense thing to do is leave them at home.
    2. Then you bring up training and records and how much this cost and how the taxes payers should not bear the cost.
    3. Would it not be reasonable to require Gun owner to carry state require insurance.
    4. Tax on ammo and fire arms to reimburse the state for medical bills due to fire arm injuries.
Count on it I have been sitting in on the planning sessions.

We all know his intentions for the 2A, what are we going to do about it?
