    New carry gun: LC9

I picked up a new LC9 yesterday for $279.00. I couldnt pass up that deal. I was wanting a new carry as my SW99OL was just too bulky to carry. Now its off to the range to kill some paper.

LC9 is a good weapon own two.
If you do not like the Mag safety it can be removed simple job. It will alter the trigger pull slightly some like that.
Ruger great weapon and a great value what they are known for.

Just how dose removing the mag safety alter the trigger? Dose it make it shorter or smoother,??

Make sure you run about 300 rounds through it before you carry it. Mine was sent back to Ruger at round 202 with a damaged hammer spring. It happens to a small percentage of 'em.

Ruger's CS was great, and the gun should be back to me today (after about 2 weeks). Hopefully it'll be solid now, but we'll see...

$279 is a great price. I just ordered a Laser Max for mine.

I just took mine to the range yesterday for the first time and had about 10% of my rounds not go boom on the first shot.
I ejected all of them and saved them for later. Reloaded them after I''d shot all the ammo I took with me, and was able to shoot off all the rounds the second time but one. It took three tries. THe primers looked like they didn't get stamped real good the first try. Not sure is it's the gun or the ammo. But all the rounds that did fire had a better firing pin mark. So I'm guessing it's the gun.

I think the little monster needs to be broke in good and a good cleaning.
It's long trigger pull threw me off when compared to my other daily carry weapon.
Mounted a laser sight to it last night. Hopefully this will allow me a better trigger control and let me get used to this one.
I'm interested on how the safety removal changes the trigger also.

BTY, I paid $300 OTD for mine!
What have you done to prepare for the end of civilization as we know it?
