If you could only have one gun what would it be?

I remember talking to someone at the local gun store and he brought this up. So I was thinking if I could only have one gun what would it be? well that gun will be a Glock 19. Why because in my opinion its very reliable, parts aren't that hard to find, different choices in magazine capacity and the ammo isn't that expensive compared to others. I know the topic may seem a bit silly but its in all fun, plus it helps you narrow down whats your all time favorite gun and why. So if you want to answer please feel free to share what firearm you would pick and why.

Look at the thread that guy from Israel posted. They ARE only allowed to own one gun. The responses posted on his thread indicate that the overwhelming majority of well-informed gun enthusiasts pick the Glock 19. Concealable, pleasant and cheap to shoot, effective, and reliable.

If I could only have one period, it would be a 22 rifle. May not be the best for everything, but I never saw anything it could not do.

Pistol would be an M10 3 or 4 inch revolver.

G30SF or G19 (I'd flip a coin). I carry them both (not at the same time ). For me, so far, I haven't found anything better for me. Unlike a rifle, I can carry it, conceal it, but I could still "fight" with it. It will do anything, defensively, that I'd realistically need it to do. I love my AR, my AK my 10/22 etc... But it's got to be a Glock for me, even over my USP .45

My Remington 870 7+1 rounds with my 18 1/2 barrel, my 28"barrel with, modified and full choke tubes, and my rifled slug barrel. Receiver is tapped for a scope mount.

That 18 1/2" barrel takes care of the needs for home and personal defense. The 28"barrel takes care of the harvesting of fowel and small game. And the slug barrel takes care of the harvesting of big game.
I have thought of this to great lengths and I often switch my thoughts from this to my G23 with its conversions 9mm and .357sig....... but at the end of the day, its my 870 that gets the nod. If I need it shorter I will put my pistol grip on it.

by the way..... the option of one gun sucks!
