Guy comes home, catches burglar in the act, holds him for the cops and is busted for it.
I say the guy deserved an award and a big pat on the back. Instead, they confiscated all his firearms. Not cool, New Hampshire.Mr. Fleming yelled, “Freeze!” and fired a shot into the ground before holding the crook at gunpoint.

He wasn't detained for hold the guy for police, he was detained for discharging the weapon. DA elected not to file charges so he should have his guns back.
When are people going to wake up and realize that firing a warning shot is only acceptable in Hollywood movies?
