One gun to save them all....

One gun... that's all you get to keep, buy, own. forever and ever... the day before the apocalypse, you are given your choice.. there will be no shortage... but you can only have one weapon. Long gun or handgun, matters not... just one... and 10,000 rounds for it...

What will it be gents? and ladies? For those of you with family... only one gun per household... sorry... those is the rules.

Another thread with almost as many answers as there are members. I'll stick to my game, where I get lots of guns.

I'll take a GE Mini gun and pick the rest up off of the ground.

SP101 in .357 Mag. Easy to carry, frees up my hands when not in use, ammo doesn't take up much space, and packs a good punch.

My 1930's Remington Model 34 .22 short, long, long rifle, bolt action rifle...Can be very quiet, has the ability to harvest small to medium game effectively with good shot placement, ammunition is lightweight and compact, is as accurate as anything I own within it's effective range.

I'd hang onto my HR pardner Pump 12 gauge shotty. Birdshot, buckshot & slugs.
It would make me sad to leave behind my GP100, 357.
