I recently analyzed a split barrel in a 20 gauge and was trying to determine any obstruction. I know that a 20 gauge shell will slip inside a 12 gauge barrel but had not seen a 28 gauge shell obstruction in a 20.

Array
I have a few 28 Ga shotguns. I'm not sure if the rim of a 28 Ga would get past the forcing cone of a 20 Ga shotgun. A 32 Ga might. I don't have a 20 GA to check.
