    Sightmark red dots

I'd really appreciate feedback from members who own or have experience with Sightmark red dots.
A friend of mine from work just put one on his AR and it seems to be a solid optic. Before I run out
and by my own I wanted to do a little DC research.

I have one or two of their laser cartridge type bore sighters and they work fine for getting on paper. I have heard both Yeas! & Nays! on their red dots.

Which specific one are you asking about 'cause they have more than a few different styles of red dot optics?

I just went through that. I ended up picking the Bushnell TRS-25. I wanted something with good battery life and somewhat rugged. We'll see how it goes once I get everything set-up. I got lucky and caught on a Amazon Warehouse deal for $76. I just checked and they have 3 left but the price jumped to $87.

I saw mixed reviews on the Truglo's and Sightmarks. One that almost made the list, and I may give a try later is the Mueller Quick Shot. So many choices.... I just couldn't bear to drop the bucks for a EOTech or Aimpoint.

I also went with the Bushnell TRS-25 from Amazon for my AK about 2 months ago and I love it. Great price and solid so far, still holds zero after about 1000 rounds.

Don't even consider it. They are AirSoft toys.
