Do You Believe In Good/Bad Gun Karma?

When I picked up my new M&P9c from the LGS (layaway) and returned home, I noticed on the receipt they forgot to add the local sales tax. So the next day I was at the LGS's range to brake in the new m&p and I asked the manager if xxxx was here. "No shes off today... can I help you?" Yeah I said "I believe there's a mistake on the final price of my m&p. He gave me that... oh boy here we go look. I explained the final "out the door price" is about $35 dollars shy from the agreed on price and I believe they forgot to add the sales tax. He did some cyphering and said "yeah your right". We walk to the cashier and I pay the difference of what I owed. He hands me a 50rd box of 9mm Blazer Brass, thanking me for my honesty. :)

So I mail in my S&W rebate form for the two free mags... and wait...

A few months later I get the package with the two mags in the mail Yea!
The very next day I find another package in the mail with two identical m&p mags

I believe in good/bad gun karma!

    With that said...
would it be bad gun karma to keep the extra mags?

nicely played......and with only a pair of 2's

id phone in on the extra mags and --thinking about shipping costs and e-mailing you a shipper---
id guess that they will say keep em
    happy range time

    -------------

pain in a box....i knew i was not the only one to adopt that manner.
and it worked well all my life--till neuropathy....darn, darn, darn, sigh

I do think that people get what is coming to them, be it good or bad.

I'd call about the extra mags. The price to make them is probably less than the cost of sending you a shipping label to get them back. Who knows? Maybe you'll win some gun raffle you never knew about.

They have been doing this off and on for the last few years.

    More recently it's $50 or 2 mags.

Well done. Might want to call on the mags, but it may keep getting bigger and better, $35 turns into box of rounds, rounds turn into 4 mags, 2 mags turns into???

I had the same thing happen a few years ago when it was $50 AND two mags. They sent me two checks and 4 mags. I called and they asked me to write void on and to send back one of the checks. They told me to keep the extra mags. ; )

    Very good karma story.

It might build up more good karma if you contact customer service and ask them about the extra mags.

But it has to be done out of the pure good nature, and not thinking of karma.

Holy crap yes! I had something happen to me a couple months ago and it was related to a gun. I believe all Karma in your life can apply to anything, not just guns. Help out a guy on the street, good karma with guns and vice versa.
