OOOooo...that's a fine looking contrast between the deep blue of the pistol and the soft ivory of the stocks. Classy as it gets! I really do like.

Look at the maker's site. Lots of good stuff to see.

    Looks great gman!

I'm about ready to put the original walnuts back on my Colt Officers 1911. Like the Ivory, Walnut just looks good and sexy on a blued gun.

However, I have to get my gun refinished first. I had the Pachmyr wrap around rubber grips on it for the last 25 years and when I took them off, the bluing on the front strap needs re-blued before the walnuts go back on. I'm just going to have the whole gun refinished.

Love the ivory grips. They will develop a great patina after a while. Ivory iis great because when your hands get sweaty they have the unique property of actually providing a more secure grip. They don't get slippery even though they are not checkered or textured.

Do you have re-finisher in mind, Bark'n? If not, you might consider sending it back to Colt, they do excellent work. The last two I had back to the factory for re-finishing, light customizing, I'm very pleased with.
