I got a vintage set of Jay Scott stag grips for my S&W 649. Came in original box with warranty card and all. They're a little thicker than the stock grips, but they actually fit my hand better. What do you think? Here's the after and the before.

Guns are like sex and air...its no big deal until YOU can't get any.
Abt the same to. Me, go with what you like best....myself I like the rubber grips that came on my 642..
Some people will start trouble and then try to make it look like its your fault....

Nice! I do love the look of the old style grips.
There is a vendor they call “the grip lady” at local gun shows here in Colorado that has a huge selection of NOS grips. I got a set of S&W branded Dymondwood for my 442. And added a BK grip adapter.

I took it out shooting last weekend and found I hated shooting the gun with the grips on it. They worked fine but the back edge of the grip frame really hurt the nerve in my thumb. So I put my cheap $7 Sile grips back on. They don’t look nearly as nice but they sure shoot more comfortably.
