So, if I understand this right, the toroidal vortex would change [to a degree] with the (a) change in rifling?

Enlightening to a nitwit who, at 18 or 19, fired his revolver underwater just to see what would happen. The ability to view the proceedings in slow-motion wasn't available.

Friend of mine fired his Ketec P-3AT (.380) underwater in a swimming pool. He said it fired just fine and the hollowpoint opened up very nicely. It even cycled the next round.

Considering the massive increase in friction, I'd say you can cut the effective range down by about 79-80% at least.

Hey thanks for the post, very interesting
I would rather live my life as if there is a God,
And die to find out there isn't, than live my life
As if there isn't, and die to find out there is.
