Ruger 10/22-TD Takedown Model – New Gun Review
I'm sure many people will want this but my 10/22 sports a Butler Creek folding stock and folds into a compact package for packing. I wouldn't be too interested in the new take-down offering from Ruger.
I had myself talked into a threaded barrel 10/22 for 'future considerations', then this came out. Saw one up close, kind of slick.
Not trading my old one for any new one though.

Picked one up Saturday. Won't be able to get to the range till next week to see if it shoots as well as my other two 10/22s. I'll post more after the range trip. Adjusted the lockup between the barrel and receiver last night. Easy no tool process.
The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".
Got to shoot my new 10/22 Takedown. Good shooter. Shot dead on. On a side note - got some steel targets from shootsteel.com - tried them out today. Pretty cool to hear the clank of steel. Got the kind you hang from chains. Lots of fun.
