I will be turning 50 three weeks from today, and my wife has finally gotten around to asking me what I want. I have been eyeing two handguns in particular and one rifle, all SIGs of course, and all within a couple hundred bucks of one another.
The first is the P229 SAS in .357SIG. I already have a DA/SA P229 in that caliber that is my primary carry, but the melt job and the DAK trigger, and those luscious wood grips are calling my name.
Another choice is the Revolution RCS (are they available yet?) in either Stainless or Nitron (another dilemma), likewise adorned, but with the wonderfull 1911 trigger. I already have several 1911's, but my belief is that you cannot have too many.
The last choice of course is the 556 (same question on availability). I have a couple of ARs in my safe, and a Viet-Nam era M-16 (yeah a real one), not to mention a couple bolt rifles in .223 and a pre-ban Mini-14, plus a .223 barrel for my TC Contender. The trouble is that I rarely shoot any of them (except the M-16).
Help!
