My little sister shooting for the 1st time.

Not sure where to put this but I just wanted to let you all know I'm trying to do my part. My sister came down to visit and I got her out the range. She absolutely loved shooting the guns and is now trying to get her husband to buy her one.

    Here's her video.

The pistol is my Walther PPQ .40 S&W and the rifle is my AR-15

Nice. She took her time between shots, that's very important when you first learn to shoot.

Very nice. Tell her we are impressed with her focus, she kept the firearm pointed downrange even when you walked around to her 9. For a new shooter, that was good to see.

Little Sis is on her way...nice shooting.
    She looked confident.

I can't tell from the video, but how is her weak hand held? I can't tell if she has it under the magazine well or not. I was taught that with semi-autos, to keep my hand from being under it. If a cartridge were to rupture, it could cause the magazine to shoot out the bottom and injure a hand under it. Other than that (if it was indeed an issue), it looked pretty darn good. Pass my congrats to sis!

Big Brother (Moundman), it looks like you're off to an excellent shooting relationship with your little sis...take her gun shopping and buy her her first pistol!

btw, it looks like she handled that .40s&w round just fine...just like my wife and daughter do with their M&P's.

Congratulations. The bug has bitten here, she's got the fever. You better believe the bro in law'll be spending some money at the armory. Does he shoot too? If not, you gotta take him next!
Why?? Because at the last second, the Police are minutes away.
