New to me Redhawk
I've been looking off and on for a .44 mag 4" Redhawk for a couple years now . I've found a bunch of super redhawks with the 7+ barrels but as I've already got a Super Blackhawk Bisley I didn't want another long barrel. I came across an ad on armslist for a 4" redhawk and since I shouldn't be spending money I let it sit there thinking well someone has definately grabbed this up already. I let a week pass after the ad was posted and finally told myself well if it's still there then I guess it was meant to be. Called the guy up and eventually I arranged to drive down to Tampa and pick it up. I believe I got a decent deal as it came with 186 mixed rounds of .44 spl and .44 mag, 2 speed loaders and a double carrier for them. It most definitely wasn't a safe queen as there is holster wear and some light scratches otherwise known as character. I took it out and shot it this morning after my ICORE match and it shoots well, or at least as well as I can shoot anyway. Recoil was super tame with the blazer .44 spl rounds and the winchester white box .44 mag were pretty stout. Shot about 100 rounds of .44 spl and 56ish rounds of .44 mag without a hiccup. I ordered a simply rugged holster for it last night so now the waiting game begins! Maybe I'll have everything read to be able to shoot the monthly ICORE match next month, that should be fun. Of course the obligatory pictures are below couple of the gun and then one with the rest of the Ruger revolver clan and just for good measure a picture of the storm clouds on the way home on I4.
well maybe on the pics it's not letting me upload them right now...so

Congrats on your find...I miss my RedHawk...it's probably still living in Alaska!
