as i've noticed about others--that they do not always do as i think they will nor often as they say they will.
this not only makes life interesting, it makes it dangerous too.

I have a very high theft potential, regardless of moving the vehicles, alarm and all the rest. Oh, I got a couple of stashes outside of the big locked container.

I keep it in metal ammo cans, in the basement.
wherever I think the wife won't stumble across this batch. seriously though whichever nook or cranny I can find at the moment my current house is short on storage space so under the bed back corners or the closet extra drawer in the filling cabinet. not the best method but it is what I have to work with right now.
My supplies are locked up in separate fire rated containers. Components are also separate and locked ( inert projectiles are in draws unlocked). That is why I have to carry my edc all the time. It may take me a few minutes to unlock and ready something. I know everything is safe, secure, dry and ready. I also log in my ammo and components with a small system that I can back up on my phone. So if I am some place and see a what I think is a good deal I can decide if I want or need anymore. Problem is I need to update more after matches or practice.
Military ammo cans. Some are in safes, some are not. All are in a climate controlled environment with desiccant in each.

I read about a guy on another thread who had a moisture problem where he stored his ammo. Make sure your place is dry.

Steel ammo cans in my bedroom. I have desiccant packets that I'll toss in them if I don't see myself using them in a month or so. 7.62x54R just stays in the spam cans.
