Very simple. You just need the Glock tool or a small punch to remove the housing pin in the grip. You already have the trigger spring?
Welcome to the forum by the way.

Very easy to do. The stock spring comes out and the ny-1 goes in its place.

Yes...the NY#1 takes the place of the original trigger spring but it fits into the trigger housing and not on the outside like original. Hope you'll stick around the forum and not just looking for the quick DIY project. I've used the NY#1 trigger with 3.5lb connector. Must say I do like it for my own reasons. However I do believe in stock Glock for carry. Do keep us up to date.

i, too like the Glock 3.5 lb. connector with the NY-1 spring. i did have it on my G-19, which i had to sell (needed the $$$). the stock trigger spring is, imo, the most fragile part on a Glock. i had one break during a competition. i could reset the trigger by flicking it forward with my trigger finger, but it slowed me down a bunch. NY-1 virtually unbreakable in normal use.

It takes the place of stock spring. I'm guessing this is just a hit and miss off the internet. Prove me wrong.
