Who Says Revolvers Recoil ? {non 56k friendly}

So i keep reading recoil is much worse with a wheelie than a 1911 and having a few wheelies i had to try it out and see espically some of the ones people say are the worst..

here we start off with a 440 grain 500 S&W







Now we step up to some 700 Grain 500 S&W loads surprisingly i had some issues with bullet jump first time with this bullet both times it was 5th Cartridge i wish i could hav got a pic but didnt have close up len's

So more crimp next time around

Recoil is little heavier but still fairly tame







So where is this recoil beast i havent found it yet so i switch up to the 44 mag 3 inch snubbie if its to be found its got to be here.

That was disappointing to say the least

So lets try out the 460V one handed

460 270 Grain bullet





Look ma no hands just what is holding that gun there



I must say that is one of neatest pics we have taken over the years

Well lets step up to some 370 grain 460 barn burners


nope no recoil here either





So all in all the experment was a Failure a lot of ammo was shot though but recoil was not to be found


So next time you hear soemone say a revolver recoils to much point them this way and ask them

Must say tho my 45-70 BFR does like to climb pretty well but then shooting it my way I actually let that happen so let energy go free instead of up my arm.

Ya know Kc i might be poor grip hard to say some of them rounds just torque so fast ya cant keep both hands on it :)

Some times no matter how ya hang onto it it still moves

Have you measured your arm lengths after this session. I would think that they might have shortened up a little with the recoil (or lack of???).

i think that is just a camera effect from angle pic is taking most were just straightback at me if i had a good grip
