Are You Secretive About Your Guns/Ammo?

I don’t generally reveal what I own or how much ammo. I may discuss the subject on line under a screen name. One day my father in-law brought up the subject of conceal carry in Wisconsin because he new that I had the permit. It wasn’t long afterward that he TWO hand guns and his permit. I think he’s trying to tell me something. But as a rule, when I carry, I don’t discuss the subject, never tell. Unfortunately I had a fiery crash in my kayak. Damn those boating accidents.

I share with trusted friends only in person.

I keep it between my inner circle. The same goes for concealed carry. I don't even tell many of my friends. They don't need to know.

I don't have a problem talking about my firearms online, but I don't go yapping to anyone who will listen "offline". I only talk about it with friends and family and may talk about it in a general sense with someone I meet if it comes up. I don't get into specifics with those outside my "circle of comfort". I might say "oh yeah, I've shot that before" rather than "I own one".

Pretty much sums it up.
A lot of my relatives, Cousins, Aunts and uncles don't know too much, other than we hunt and such a bit.

Couple guys at work know but they are also CPL holders as well.(inner circle)

Guns have no role to play in polite society. I only come here to keep an eye on ya'all.

Depends on the person really. Most people around here know I have guns. How many I have and what they are shall remain a mystery, except to a certain few that share my level of passion for all things that go boom. I will admit that I enjoy posting pictures of my new toys, but all of those that I've posted about have since been lost in a boating accident.

Others need not know what I have. I do not make it public. I have a small circle of gun buddies, they know, but not even the wife knows whats around the house....

My wife and daugher know. One of my brothers knows. A couple buddies from church know. I don't avoid the subject, but it doesn't tend to come up around people I am not close to.
